Annandale United Methodist Church
6935 Columbia Pike, Annandale VA 22003
At Annandale Church, we believe it’s God’s grace in Jesus Christ that set us free to love our neighbor and serve our community.
Newcomers are always welcome at AUMC! Feel free to show up for any of the activities on our Current Events page – the description will let you know whether or not to RSVP.
AUMC has two locations: our main campus at 6935 Columbia Pike, which hosts our services and most events, and our mission center at 7901 Heritage Drive, which we use for community outreach and certain mission activities. We have information about our main campus available online for anyone curious about our parking, accessibility, etc.
Interested in checking out our services? Join us in-person or online for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. It will include live singing, a sermon, communion, and other familiar parts of the order of worship, and will be livestreamed at annandalechurch.com/stream and on our Facebook page for those wishing to watch from home. Masks will be required for unvaccinated individuals older than 2 years; registration will not be. We will no longer post a prerecorded worship service at 8:30 a.m. To learn more, visit the worship page.
Our worship services wouldn’t be the same without the help of the many singers and musicians in our congregation. Visit our music ministries page to learn about our choirs for all ages, instrumental opportunities, and special music activities!
We have Sunday school classes for all ages, including a wide variety of adult classes for different interests and discipleship levels. We also have several small groups meeting throughout the week. Head over to our “Classes” page to learn more!
Annandale UMC is devoted to improving our community and the world through our mission projects. These range from weekly local commitments, like offering free tutoring to students in Annandale schools, to large-scale activities like packing tens-of-thousands of meals for Rise Against Hunger, to mission trips that take us from the Appalachian mountains to Haiti. We’re always looking for more volunteers, and have activities suitable to a wide range of ages and physical abilities – check the missions page to learn more!
We also have a variety of other groups, ranging from social activities like our book club to caring ministries for members going through difficult times. The groups page gives a basic rundown – feel free to contact any of the group leaders for more information.
If you’re interested in joining AUMC, contact Dottie Rogerson, our membership secretary, and she’ll get you started! Email Dottie at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 703-256-8330.
