Our Main worship service is Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
Our current sermon series is focused on the book of Revelation. The idea of forseeing the future or “end times” has sparked the curiosity of just about every person on the planet. Not surprisingly, the book of Revelation has fascinated students of the Bible for centuries. Yet because it is riddled with symbolism and metaphor, visions and dreams, it has also stimulated controversy and debate. But what if Revelation was meant to be read as a companion to John’s Gospel, similar to Luke-Acts? What if the secret to understanding the Apocalypse is in taking the time to read the Old Testament prophets? With a deep dive in to the final book of the Bible, we can understand the cosmically good news it offers a Church always in need of hopeful encouragement to stay the way of the cross.
Worship in August features hymns voted on by our congregation as well as solos from talented vocalists, flutists, oboeists, and others, as we give our normal music teams a break. In September, our usual music will resume with contemporary music from our Praise Team with vocals, guitar, and drums, traditional music from our Adult Choir, and hymns for the congregation to sing together. We serve communion every week, and have a fellowship hour after the service for anyone who wishes to linger and catch up.
